Hiring Entry-Level Insulation Workers

Manual labor is a rewarding job but it is not a job where you can be on your phone dodging work and expecting someone else to pick up the slack. In other words, if you've spent a full day doing yard work, stacking wood, sealing a driveway, painting a house, or moving a friend, it's like that.  If you enjoyed the feeling of relaxing at 3:30PM after working a full day - feeling accomplished, then you could be cut out for a job in the building, construction or other trades industry.  This job is the ideal introduction to that type of work.

Insulation Worker Job Description

• Work Day: 7AM - 3PM
• Work Week: Monday - Friday. No weekend work.
• Pay & Benefits:
  • First 90 Days, $18.50/hour, up to $3,000 a month when putting in a 40 hour work week
  • After 90 days, based on performance, up to $20/hour with subsidized health insurance benefits

    Solon, OH 44139

Transportation from warehouse to the job site will be provided.

All Training Provided and Will Include Tasks Like:

• Measure and cut insulation for covering surfaces, using tape measures, tools, knives, or scissors.
• Fit, wrap, staple, or glue insulating materials to structures or surfaces, using hand tools.
• Cover and line structures with blown or rolled forms of materials to insulate against cold, heat, or moisture, using blowers, or other tools and implements
• Distribute insulating materials evenly into small spaces within floors, ceilings, or walls, using blowers and hose attachments>
• Move controls, buttons, or levers to start blowers and regulate flow of materials through nozzles.
• Fill blower hoppers with insulating materials.
• Cover, seal, or finish insulated surfaces or access holes with plastic covers, canvas strips, sealants, tape, cement or other material.
• Prepare surfaces for insulation application.
• Remove worn, damaged or outdated materials from work areas.

Job Requirements:

• Must have transportation to warehouse in Solon each work day 7am - 3pm Monday - Friday
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Must be able to climb ladders up to 6 feet
• Must be able to work in enclosed areas - attics and crawl spaces
